Konya Invests in Wastewater Infrastructure

Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKI General Directorate is rapidly continuing its work at the Doğanhisar Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant.


Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKI General Manager Ahmet Demir, who inspected the works, emphasized that the project is a significant investment for the region.


Demir announced that the construction is currently 45% physically complete and stated that they aim to finish the facility by the end of the year. He added, "As part of the project, we are not only building wastewater treatment plants but also constructing a 7-kilometer-long sewer network. The total cost of the wastewater treatment plant is 62 million liras, while the sewer network costs approximately 60 million liras. We have already completed the tender for this project and plan to finish it by the end of the year."
