Corn Harvest Continues in Konya

Corn Harvest Continues in Konya

The harvest of corn has commenced on a 5,371-hectare field located in the Kulu district of Konya.

The harvest has begun in a 5,371-decare corn field in Kulu, a district of Konya. Cengiz Öztürk, Chairman of the Kulu District Chamber of Agriculture, made a statement on the matter, saying, "The first corn harvest has started in our Değirmenözü neighborhood. In the 120-decare area where the harvest was carried out using a combine harvester, a yield of 1,500 kilograms per decare was achieved. Farmers in other surrounding neighborhoods of our district are also planting corn. Since the harvest has not yet been completed in those areas, we cannot estimate how many kilograms of corn will be harvested per decare. I wish our farmers a bountiful and fruitful harvest."

Harvesting has begun with combine harvesters in a 5,371-decare corn field across the district.
