Konya Agriculture Fair Breaks Record

The 21st Konya Agriculture Fair became a global meeting point for the agricultural sector, breaking a record with 251,184 visitors from 79 countries and all 81 provinces of Turkey.

Held across a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, the fair highlighted new product launches, collaborations, technological innovations, and investment opportunities.

The fair, which contributed to local producers expanding into global markets, also became an important platform for professionals looking to stay updated on the latest developments in the sector.

Participating companies had the opportunity to both showcase their products and establish new business connections.

Selçuk Öztürk, President of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, stated that the 21st Konya Agriculture Fair was extremely productive in terms of the trade conducted and business connections established at the fair center over the five days, contributing to both domestic and international demand vitality.

In his assessment, President Öztürk stated: "We successfully completed the 21st Konya Agriculture Fair, one of the largest in Turkey and among the leading agricultural fairs in the world, at the Konya Chamber of Commerce International Fair Center. The trade volume generated during the fair made significant contributions to the export of agricultural machinery and equipment. The fair, which directly contributed to Konya's performance in machinery exports, has once again demonstrated the city's production power. Along with international visitors, professional buying delegations at the fair held one-on-one meetings with our producers. These meetings will lay the foundation for new export agreements in the upcoming period. The interest of the trade delegations has transformed the fair into a global trade platform."

Öztürk added, "The movement generated by visitors from both abroad and Turkey has brought vitality to the local economy, creating a buzz in various sectors, from tourism and accommodation to dining and transportation. This multifaceted impact shows just how strategically valuable our fair is for Konya. I would like to express my gratitude to the Konya protocol who visited our fair and met with company representatives and visitors. I also thank TÜYAP Fair Organization, TARMAKBİR, and all institutions and organizations that contributed to the organization of the fair, as well as the participating companies, all visitors, and our Chamber's Board Members who worked tirelessly during the fair to ensure its success."
