Konya Agriculture Fair Draws Global Attention

Konya Agriculture Fair, which is the number one in its sector in Türkiye and ranks among the top three in the world, has once again become a major attraction for both local and international visitors this year.

At this year's fair, which saw strong participation from African countries, significant steps were taken towards important commercial collaborations. Alposman Koparan, Regional Manager of TÜYAP Konya Fair Organization Inc., stated that the 21st edition of the Konya Agriculture Fair has become a brand.

The Defense Attaché of the Embassy of Burkina Faso, Senior Colonel Kounsaouma Palenfo, expressed his admiration for the Konya Agriculture Fair. Palenfo stated, "This is my first time attending the Konya Agriculture Fair. I have seen many beautiful things. From what I had heard before, I observed even better things. I made new discoveries. A delegation from Burkina Faso visited the fair, and they also observed that it is a fair of great importance. We visited many stands and saw companies from all areas of agriculture. We are truly amazed. There are various products here, such as water purification devices and spraying equipment. This is really important for Burkina Faso as well."

Baba Tonane, an official from the Embassy of Burkina Faso, stated, "The Konya Agriculture Fair is truly beyond amazing. We made observations that provided us with the necessary motivation. It is a fair that could facilitate export between Turkey and Burkina Faso. Our country has a great interest in agriculture. Everyone needs water. We can also acquire the necessary materials from the equipment here and use them in our country. One of the companies we visited was a drilling company. In Burkina Faso, we face difficulties accessing water. If this company has a representative in our country, it would make us very happy."
