Konya Fide Meets City's Seedling Needs

Konya Fide, Konya's first and only vegetable seedling production facility, has started the new season.

During his visit to the facility, Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş stated, "The real winners are our producers and farmers, thanks to the seedlings produced here and offered at attractive prices. I wish all our producers and citizens who plant seedlings for hobby purposes a plentiful and prosperous season."

Mayor Kavuş, pointing out that Konya Fide would be the primary destination for producers this year, just as in previous years, reminded that with a capacity to produce 2.5 million seedlings at a time and 12 million seedlings throughout the entire season, the facility is capable of meeting more than 10% of Konya's annual seedling needs, which amount to one

hundred million.

Mayor Kavuş, stating that Konya Fide is a significant investment not only for farmers but also for hobbyists, said, "Our seedlings are produced with hybrid seeds that are free from diseases, in Konya’s climate and soil. This reduces transportation costs, prevents seedling losses, and provides significant advantages to our producers. The interest we received in previous years was very pleasing, and I believe we will continue to be the top choice for our citizens this season as well. I would like to thank our citizens for their interest and assure them that we are working hard to offer the best product at the lowest price to meet their expectations."

Citizens who came to Konya Fide for shopping expressed their satisfaction with both the quality of the seedlings and the affordable prices, and thanked Mayor Mustafa Kavuş and the Meram Municipality for their services.
