Konya Fields Turn Yellow with Sunflowers

The 78 circular fields, each spanning 365 decares, at the Altinova Agricultural Enterprise under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, are now a sea of yellow thanks to the ripening crops.

At the Altınova Agricultural Enterprise in Kadınhanı district, wheat, barley, oil sunflower, clover, vetch, and forage crops are produced on 310,000 decares of land.

In the enterprise, which utilizes modern and technological equipment, seed sunflower and potato production is also carried out in collaboration with the private sector.

In the enterprise, 78 circular fields, each the size of 50 football fields, are planted according to the "Center Pivot Robotic Irrigation System." These fields produce primarily harvested cereals, as well as oil sunflowers and forage crops.

Sunflowers blooming in 6 circular fields, planted according to a robotic irrigation system with a movable radius based on the center of the field, create a beautiful view.
