Modern Storage Boosts Konya's Agriculture

Cold storage facilities established in Konya with the support of Iller Bank (ILBANK), an affiliated organization of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, enhance the efficiency of agricultural products and minimize post-harvest losses.

By constructing modern agricultural storage facilities, ILBANK supports producers and leads projects aimed at strengthening agricultural activities in urban areas.

In this context, the Konya Seydişehir Cold Storage and Drying Facility and the Karaman Ayrancı Cold Storage, established with İLBANK's support, enhance the efficiency of agricultural products and help minimize post-harvest losses.

Located on a 7,460-square-meter area in Konya Seydişehir, one of Turkey's key agricultural centers, the Cold Storage and Drying Facility has a capacity of 2,500 tons. With specially insulated rooms and industrial control systems, the facility ensures that regional products such as fruits, cheese, yogurt, and jam are stored under ideal conditions, preserving their freshness and nutritional value for extended periods.

The facility not only enhances food safety but also contributes to strengthening the regional economy.
