In Konya, Theater Takes Center Stage

In the district of Akşehir in Konya, within the framework of the 64th International Akşehir Nasreddin Hodja Festival, different theaters meet every evening with theater enthusiasts from Akşehir.

The theater play titled "Fehim Pasha Mansion," written by Turgut Özakman and directed by Kerem Yılmaz, met with theater enthusiasts at Akşehir Cultural Center.

At the end of the musical play, which occasionally made the audience burst into laughter, Akşehir Deputy Mayor Yahya Yıldız presented a plaque to the actors on behalf of Akşehir Mayor Salih Akkaya. The members of the theater group also expressed their great pleasure in being in Akşehir and stated that Akşehir had an amazing audience. They conveyed their thanks to the art-loving Mayor Salih Akkaya of Akşehir.

The theater play was watched by Akşehir Mayor Salih Akkaya, Akşehir Deputy Mayor Yahya Yıldız, Dr. Lecturer Kadir Öztaş (Director of Selçuk University Nasreddin Hodja Practice and Research Center), members of the municipal council, and many theater enthusiasts.
