Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues to bring sacred relics together with the people of Konya during the blessed month of Ramadan.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay reminded that the Sacred Relics Exhibition, opened in the exhibition area beneath Taş Bina, consists of 16 Kaaba coverings from different periods and 47 sacred artifacts.
Mayor Altay stated that the exhibition will remain open throughout the month of Ramadan and said, “We have witnessed the satisfaction of our fellow citizens visiting the ‘Sacred Relics Exhibition’ at our Taş Bina Exhibition Hall. Due to high demand, we have extended the visiting hours. The exhibition will be open every evening until 10:00 PM and can also be visited until suhoor on the Night of Power. We welcome all our fellow citizens.”
Visitor Sadettin Koca stated that he came to the exhibition with his mother and was very happy to see the sacred relics, saying, “I hope events like this exhibition will be held every year during Ramadan and even outside of Ramadan. We are very happy that such an exhibition has been organized; it filled our hearts with peace.”
Turan Abdullah Gümüşcan, who visited the exhibition with his family, also said, “We have not been to Umrah before, but we want to go. This exhibition felt like a small Umrah for us. May Allah bless those who contributed to it.”
