Konya’s Cinema Days Begin

Konya Metropolitan Municipality is adding color to summer evenings in the districts with its Mobile Cinema Truck.

Launched for the first time this year with the aim of bringing cultural and artistic events to districts and neighborhoods outside the city center, the “Cinema Days” event made its first stop in the Üzümlü and Huğlu neighborhoods of Beyşehir district.

The event then continued in the neighborhoods of Yeşildağ, Esence, Sadıkhacı, Doğanbey, and Karaali in Beyşehir, and reached residents in the center of Derebucak.

Children who watched the film “Pocket Hercules: Naim Süleymanoğlu” with their families at the Mobile Cinema Truck enjoyed an open-air movie experience and spent a nostalgic evening.

Children and families who shared their thoughts about the event expressed their appreciation for the project and thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality for making it happen.

SUMMER CINEMA AT 101 LOCATIONS

As part of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality’s Cinema Days, film screenings will take place throughout the summer at 101 different locations, including 11 district centers, 85 former towns, and 5 tourist or recreational areas. All screenings will be held in settlements with populations over 1,000 and in areas where residents frequently spend time.
