Konya's Past Revived at Meram Museum

The Meram City and Life Culture Museum in Konya recreates the city's domestic life from fifty years ago, showcasing historical artifacts, wax sculptures, and theater performances.

Each room in the museum is furnished with historical items, depicting daily life from half a century ago through wax figures.

In the garden, actor İsmail Acar, dressed in period costumes, greets visitors and transports them back in time with his performance in the local Konya dialect.

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş stated that the museum was established to preserve and pass on Konya's culture, art, and values to future generations

Visitor Mustafa Göğer expressed his delight, saying that the museum took him back to the past. He emphasized the importance of preserving cultural values, praising the museum as a meaningful project
