The Çatalhöyük Visitor Center in Konya offers an immersive experience into one of the world’s most remarkable Neolithic settlements. Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has highlighted Çatalhöyük as one of Turkey’s and the world’s major archaeological treasures, officially listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. He has compared its historical importance to that of Göbeklitepe, emphasizing the settlement’s key role in understanding the foundations of civilization across millennia.

Strategically located within the Third-Degree Archaeological Conservation Site, the visitor center spans 28,500 square meters (17.71 square miles) on land owned by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, offering ample space for exhibits and educational activities.
