The exhibition "Turkey's Female Pioneers," organized in collaboration between Karatay Municipality and the Dutch Embassy, has opened its doors to visitors at the Mevlana Cultural Center.
In the "Turkey's Female Pioneers" exhibition, the life struggles and achievements of the first Turkish women who showed the courage to start a new life in the Netherlands, fought various challenges, and became role models through their successes are presented through different artistic expressions. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the determined and inspiring stories of these pioneering women in the exhibition.
The program held at the Mevlana Cultural Center was attended by Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, Karatay Municipality Mayor Hasan Kılca, Dutch Ambassador Joep Wijnands, KOSKİ General Manager Ahmet Demir, officials from the Dutch Embassy, and representatives from the Dutch Konya Association.
Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca expressed great happiness in hosting such a meaningful project.
Ambassador Joep Wijnands emphasized the contributions of Turkish women both during the migration process and in Dutch society, stating that this exhibition reflects the friendship and shared values between the two countries.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay thanked everyone involved, stating that the exhibition is a success story.
