Among the Top 10 Cities in Exports

Konya, with the 1,47 % share of the export rate, is among the top 10 cities in Turkey. 
Selçuk Öztürk, Head of Konya Chamber of Commerce (KCC) evaluated the February 2021 temporary foreign trade data which was declared by Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM). Öztürk stated that “Turkey’s exports in February rose 9.6 percent to 16 billion 12 million dollars. 
Konya’s monthly exports increased by 21.85 percent in the same period and became 213 million 330 thousand dollars. 
Öztürk stated that “Konya continues its rapid rise in exports. “Konya’s export increase is at the level of 21.85 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. According to these figures, with its 1.47 percent share, Konya is among the top 10 exporting cities in Turkey. Our exports increased by 4.80 percent compared to the previous month and also, in the first two months it increased by 20.5 percent to 416.895.203 dollars. The rapid rise we achieved in the first two months of 2021 shows that we are progressing in our targets. . We will continue to work in cooperation with our exporters. “
