Chinese Major Automotive Manufacturers to Invest in Konya

DFSK Deputy General Manager Du Xianjun stated that they aim to position Turkey as the center of Europe, saying, "One of our plans is to establish a production hub in the European region."


One of China's major automotive manufacturers, DFSK Motor, has started sales in Turkey through SHS Fleet distribution.


Du Xianjun, who expressed their aim to position Turkey as the center of Europe, stated, "One of our plans is to establish a production hub in the European region. When we look at it from a group perspective, I can say that Turkey stands out among the most important candidate countries."


DFSK Turkey's CEO, Hakan Şahsuvaroğlu, also mentioned their aim to bring a different perspective to competition in segments related to durability, efficiency, and affordability advantages.


Şahsuvaroğlu noted that alongside passenger models, they have entered the Turkish market with six different products from China, all of which comply with the "Euro 6" regulations. He stated, "In parallel with this, our dealership network is ongoing. We are receiving strong demand, and we will be structuring our dealership network to be present in every region of our country. Initially, we are launching with 7 authorized sellers and 21 service points in Istanbul, Ankara, Konya, Gaziantep, Denizli, and Diyarbakır. By 2024, we will increase our dealership count to 12 and our service points to 40."
