Concrete Facility Adds 50 Million TL Value to Karatay

Karatay Municipality achieved significant savings thanks to the Concrete Elements Production Facility it established last year.

With an annual production capacity of 300,000 square meters of interlocking paving stones and curbs, the facility has contributed over 50 million TL in added value to the district so far.

The Karatay Municipality has been producing all the interlocking paving stones and curbs used in its infrastructure projects for the past year, thanks to the Concrete Elements Production Facility, which was completed and began operations in July last year on a 123,000-square-meter plot with a 1,551-square-meter construction area.

Located in the Tatlıcak neighborhood, the facility has an annual production capacity of 300,000 square meters of paving stones and curbs. It can produce 1,250 square meters of paving stones and 1,000 linear meters of curbs daily. With a 1,551-square-meter enclosed storage area, the facility operates much like a factory.

In addition to interlocking paving stones and curbs, the facility will also be able to produce pumice blocks, concrete blocks, and partially ready-mixed concrete. Moreover, this production offers at least a 20% price advantage compared to market rates.

The Concrete Elements Production Facility stands out not only as a production center that reduces costs for Karatay Municipality but also as a model of savings.
