Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Oruç Baba Inan,
stated, “Konya is one of the leading provinces critical to the economic growth
and development of our country.”
Inan visited the Center for Development-Oriented Strategic
Research (KOSAM) located at the central campus of Konya Chamber of Commerce
(KTO) Karatay University.
According to a written statement from KTO Karatay
University, Inan, during his visit, held consultations with Selçuk Öztürk, the
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KTO Karatay University and a member of
TOBB's Board of Directors, as well as officials from KOSAM, regarding regional
projects related to the business world and financial structures.
In his statement during the visit, Inan stated, “Konya is
among the provinces of critical importance for our country's economic growth
and development. This visit provided us with a better understanding of the
region's potential and the opportunity to collaborate with the business
community on regional development projects. The Center for Development-Oriented
Strategic Research plays an important role in guiding the business world in
this regard.”
President Selçuk Öztürk also emphasized KOSAM's contribution
to regional development projects, stating:
“As the business community of Konya, we attach great
importance to regional development projects and strategic planning. The visit
of our esteemed Deputy Minister carries significant meaning for the projects
and opportunities in our region. KOSAM plays a pivotal role in the development
of our region and our country by producing quality content and proposing
value-added projects.”
After the speeches, Deputy Minister Inan and his accompanying
delegation toured the university campus.
