Karabekir Metalurji Produces Moulding Materials with Secondary Aluminium

Konya-based Karabekir Metalurji, which produces alloy aluminium materials used in moulding and model making with local means, continues to offer its products to its customers at reasonable prices despite the high inflation experienced in the past period.

Founded in Konya in 2010, Karabekir Metalurji carries out the heat treatment of aluminium spare parts used in the automotive industry, as well as the hardening, stress relieving and annealing processes of the aluminium spare parts produced.

Karabekir Metallurgy Production Manager Yavuz Dedeoğlu gave information about the company's activities. “In 2016, we implemented a project that had never been tried before in our country and carried out the first aluminium billet (slab) casting using secondary aluminium with our own means. Today, as Karabekir Metalürji, we cut the billets we produce into desired sizes in line with the demands of our customers and ship them to many cities in our country. The segments we target are mostly machine model manufacturers, blow moulders and plastic injection and thermoform mould manufacturers. We also serve our customers who demand harder materials by applying heat treatment to parts up to certain sizes.”
