Karatay's Concrete Facility Boosts Economic Contribution

Karatay Municipality has achieved significant savings thanks to the Concrete Elements Production Facility established last year. With an annual production capacity of 300,000 square meters of interlocking concrete pavers and curbs, the facility has provided over 50 million TL in added value to the district to date.

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated, "We produce interlocking pavers and curbs, which are one of the largest expense items in our infrastructure projects. This allows us to provide much faster and higher-quality services to our district while significantly reducing costs and achieving substantial savings. We view these facilities as factories that produce services for our municipality."

Karatay Municipality has been producing all interlocking pavers and curbs used in its infrastructure projects for the past year thanks to the Concrete Elements Production Facility, which was completed in July of last year on a 123,000-square-meter plot with a construction area of 1,551 square meters.

The facility established in Tatlıcak Neighborhood has an annual production capacity of 300,000 square meters of pavers and curbs. Capable of producing 1,250 square meters of pavers or 1,000 linear meters of curbs daily, the facility operates like a factory with its 1,551 square meters of indoor storage area.
