Kavuş: "We have a self-sufficient institutional structure in production"

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş visited the municipality’s production and technical support center, Arif Bilge Facilities. In his statement about the visit, he said the facility is the clearest example of Meram’s productive approach to local governance.

Mayor Kavuş toured the departments and workshops within the facility one by one, receiving information from the staff, responsible managers, and technical team about the ongoing work. During the visit, Mayor Kavuş had a conversation with the personnel in the workshops and inspected the maintenance, repair, and renewal processes of the municipal service vehicles on-site.

After the visit, Mayor Mustafa Kavuş stated that many of the materials needed by the municipality are produced at these facilities and emphasized that they have created a model of local government that produces using its own resources.

In his statement, Mayor Kavuş said the following: “It is one of the necessities of the modern era for local government to be a structure that produces, develops, and can meet its own needs. Here, we carry out the maintenance and repairs of our service vehicles with our own teams, and we also produce materials used in various services in our own workshops. This not only provides significant economic contributions but also enables us to carry out our work much more quickly and efficiently.”
