Konya Governor İbrahim Akın and Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, together with businesspeople from Konya, attended the 19th International Trade Fair held in Tešanj to support the development of trade between Konya and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Speaking at the fair held in Tešanj, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s industrial cities, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay said that Konya is ready to take on significant roles in joint projects with Bosnia and Herzegovina through its strength in industry, agriculture, and technology.
Konya Governor İbrahim Akın also wished success for the 19th Tešanj International Trade Fair, which saw the participation of 17 companies from Konya, and said, “When the strong industrial rise of our country and our city Konya comes together with Bosnia’s new industrial breakthrough, the synergy that emerges strengthens not only trade bridges but also bridges of the heart.”
Governor Akın and Mayor Altay also met with Ilijaš Mayor Amar Dovadžija, Sarajevo Mayor Samir Avdić, and Novi Grad Mayor Semir Efendić. The meetings focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries, particularly in areas such as economy, agriculture, and industry.
