Konya achieved its highest export figure in its history in
July. In July, Konya's exports reached $328.6 million with a remarkable
increase of 37.29%.
The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) announced the export
data for July.
The President of the Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO), Selçuk
Oztürk, evaluated the export figures and said, "Konya has started the
second half of 2023 with a significant increase in exports in line with our
expectations. I congratulate all traders, industrialists, and exporters."
President Oztürk stated, "Turkey's exports in July
increased by 8.4% compared to the same period last year, reaching $20.1
billion. In July, Konya broke its export record with a remarkable increase of
37.29%, amounting to $328,668,318. This figure is the highest monthly export
amount in Konya's history. Additionally, Konya achieved a different record by
increasing its share in Turkey's exports to 1.87%. Our total exports for the
first 7 months of 2023 also rose by 2.46%, reaching $1.892 billion. The
12-month export figure for Konya stands at $3.307 billion. This substantial
increase in July is gratifying. As expected, we have started the second half of
2023 with a significant increase in exports. I believe that by collaborating
with our companies, we will achieve even higher export growth in the coming
months of 2023."
