Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKİ General Directorate has been further strengthened with 24 new construction machines put into service.
Speaking at the launch event held at the Selçuklu KOSKİ Facilities, KOSKİ General Manager Ahmet Demir said, “Hopefully, these vehicles will greatly contribute to providing more efficient, more effective, and healthier infrastructure services to our community, our people, and our city. I wish these vehicles will bring good fortune to Konya and to Türkiye.”
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay also emphasized in his speech that the KOSKİ General Directorate carries out very important work in Konya.
Mayor Altay stated, “All our colleagues working at KOSKİ have made significant contributions to this system. Without people, achieving these goals would not be possible. The second key element is machinery and equipment. While we continue to develop our human resources and pass on our experience to new team members, we also regularly upgrade our machinery and equipment every year. Today, we are putting 24 new construction machines into service at a cost of 100 million lira. May God protect us from all kinds of accidents and misfortunes, and may we provide valuable services to our city.”
The construction machines added to the Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKİ General Directorate at a cost of 100 million lira include 12 backhoe loaders, 7 dump trucks with a capacity of 20 tons, 2 sliding bed trucks, 1 crawler excavator, 1 mini excavator, and 1 fuel tanker with a capacity of 10 tons.
