Konya Hosts Exporters Meeting

The Anatolian Lions Businessmen's Association (ASKON) Konya Branch, in cooperation with the Konya Exporters Platform, organized the Konya Exporters Meeting.

In a speech at the event held at the branch office, ASKON Konya Branch President Atilla Sinacı stated that Konya is a city that continues to rise as an industrial center.

Sinacı expressed that businesspeople from Konya engage in trade with every region of the world, stating, "Our city closed 2023 with an export of 3.5 billion dollars. We continue to increase our exports each year. As we leave behind the 10th month, we are doing very well despite the shrinking global markets. God willing, by the end of the year, we will achieve new records together."

Sinacı noted that production and exports occur in many different sectors in Konya, stating, "Today, we are organizing this event to discuss Konya's exports and what can be done. I believe that our Konya will see 10 billion dollars in exports in the short term."

The program continued with a panel on Konya's exports, attended by Memiş Kütükcü, President of the Organized Industrial Zones Supreme Organization (OSBÜK), exporting businesspeople, representatives from relevant civil society organizations, and academics.
