According to the statistics of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkey, Konya ranked among the top provinces that issued the most "capacity reports". Specifically, the number of "capacity reports" in 2021 was 85,790, which increased by 11.67% to 95,804 in 2022. Among the production facilities to which these reports belong, 44.7% have 1-9 employees, 39.2% have 10-49 employees, 7.8% have 50-99 employees, 5.75% have 100-249 employees, and 2.55% have more than 250 employees. The total number of employees in the industrial facilities with capacity reports increased by 8.27% to 3,871,480 compared to the previous year. Out of the total employees, 5.54% are employed in facilities with 1-9 employees, 22.44% are employed in facilities with 10-49 employees, 13.54% are employed in facilities with 50-99 employees, 21.99% are employed in facilities with 100-249 employees, and 36.49% are employed in facilities with more than 250 employees. Konya ranked among the top 5 provinces that issued the most capacity reports. The top 5 provinces that issued the most capacity reports were Istanbul (27,417), Ankara (6,510), Bursa (6,327), Izmir (5,895), and Konya (3,957) respectively.
