Konya's New Solar Power Plant

Konya's New Solar Power Plant

A giant solar power plant has been put into operation in Konya, contributing to energy with a monthly production of 1 million TL.

Electricity production has begun at the Bağrıkurt Solar Power Plant, which has been completed on a 45,000 square meter area.

It is expected that the operation of this power plant will make an important contribution to Turkey's renewable energy production.

The power plant is built on an area of 45,000 square meters and contains 7,250 solar panels. These panels will be able to generate 1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. The generated electricity will be transmitted to the national grid and will meet part of the electricity needs of Konya and surrounding provinces.

The investment cost of the power plant is approximately 1 million TL. It is expected that this investment will also make significant contributions to the Turkish economy and employment.

Solar energy is one of the most important renewable energy sources in Turkey. In recent years, investments in solar power plants have increased rapidly. In this way, a significant part of Turkey's energy needs is met from clean and renewable energy sources.
