Konya Set to Make Significant Contributions to Employment and Production

Konya has gained a new Organized Industrial Zone. The 12th OIZ in the city has been officially approved by the ministry, and Konya has become the 4th in Turkey in this field.

Konya, Turkey's productive force, has gained a new Organized Industrial Zone. The Akşehir Food Specialization Organized Industrial Zone, whose establishment activities were completed in the past months, has officially obtained legal personality today.

With the Akşehir Food Specialization OIZ, the number of OIZs affiliated with the Ministry of Industry has risen to 355. Together with the 39 TDIOSBs under the Ministry of Agriculture, the total number of OIZs in Turkey has reached 394.

With the addition of the Akşehir Food Specialization Organized Industrial Zone, the number of OIZs in Konya has also increased to 12. With the participation of the Akşehir Food Specialization Organized Industrial Zone, which will make significant contributions to employment and production, Konya has become the fourth in Turkey in terms of the number of OIZs it possesses.
