Konya’s economy continues to grow

The “Business World Meeting in the Century of Turkey” program organized by the Anadolu Aslanları Businessmen Association (ASKON) Konya Branch was held at the ASKON Konya Branch building.

Deputy Altunyaldız stated that “While the average growth in the last 20 years in the global economy was 3.9, Turkey’s growth was 6.1. We have grown exponentially in global growth because Türkiye is a dynamic country with a population increase. These ratios are very important in growth. As a result, we came to 10 thousand 600 dollars from three thousand 600 dollars in 2022. We had a surge in 2008. In the last slice, we see growth again despite the pandemic. I always say this to industrialists, capturing 50 percent of the domestic market and foreign exports means success. Our balanced growth shows the importance of the industry. In the global world, the industry and technology of countries with a mission like ours are really important. Both industry and smart devices must be attractive forces so that they contribute to Turkey’s mission. Our industry showed us this with 6.6 and 7.1 growth. As of April, things were back in order. We will see the effects of this in a couple of months. Konya is an industrial city, with 3 billion 260 thousand dollars, Konya came to the eleventh place. For now, Konya has entered the top 10 in the first 3 months. This is a very pleasing development for Konya. Türkiye is a country that keeps its debt well and accounts. We dropped from 74 percent to 32 percent in debt repayment. Türkiye grows by investment, not debt.
