248 new factories will be added to the new Organized Industrial Zone in Konya.
The lottery was drawn in the 6th Expansion Area of the Konya Organized Industrial Zone, and all investors' requests were met. Konya will gain an additional 248 new factories in the new Organized Industrial Zone.
Konya Organized Industrial Zone and Organized Industrial Zones General Secretariat President Memiş Kütükcü, who participated in the Pre-Allocation Lottery Drawing Ceremony of the 6th Expansion Area, provided information about the developments in the region and the allocation process. Emphasizing that Konya Organized Industrial Zone has reached a size of 31 million square meters with the addition of the 6th Expansion Area, making it Turkey's second-largest Organized Industrial Zone, Kütükcü expressed his gratitude to all participating industrialists contributing to the region's growth.
Kütükcü emphasized that the expropriation process in the 6th section is ongoing, and once this process is completed, permanent allocations will be made to the industrialists who received preliminary allocations. He stated, "Our goal is to expedite the expropriation process. As soon as we complete the expropriation, we will also provide permanent allocations to the industrialists who received preliminary allocations. This way, our industrialists can begin their investments. With the implementation of investments in the 6th section, we will hopefully significantly increase our current factory count, which is 727, and our employment, which is over 55,000."
