Konya increased its exports by 4.2 percent in June 2025 compared to the same period last year, reaching 242.24 million dollars. The city’s total exports in the first half of the year climbed to 1.64 billion dollars.
Mustafa Büyükeğen, President of the Konya Chamber of Industry, emphasized that the rise in exports is a significant indicator for the city’s economy, stating, “Konya’s exports grew by 4.2 percent in June. Our export growth will continue, and we will achieve new successes.”
Selçuk Öztürk, President of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, also evaluated the first half of the year, saying, “We achieved 242.24 million dollars in exports in June. With total exports surpassing 1.64 billion dollars in the first six months, we have achieved a remarkable success. Konya has the capacity to reach much higher levels with its production strength and foreign trade potential.”
Export growth was particularly notable in sectors such as agriculture, food processing, machinery, and automotive sub-industry. Officials expect this upward trend to continue during the second half of the year.
