Konya's Significant Investment in 13.3 MW Solar Energy Project

One of Konya's largest casting companies is making a total of 13.3 MW solar energy investment on a 160,000 square meter area.

In our country, where renewable energy is gaining importance day by day, companies continue to invest in this field. Especially in the Solar Energy Power Plant sector, many companies are making million-dollar investments. The Konya Plain is also in the most advantageous position in Turkey in terms of Solar Energy Power Plant.

One of the companies that has started investing in Solar Energy Power Plant in the Konya region is EKDÖKSAN.

The company, located in the Bağrıkurt neighborhood of the Selçuklu region, will establish a Solar Energy Power Plant on a 160,000 square meter area. With its new Solar Energy Power Plant, which has a capacity of 13.3 megawatts, in addition to the rooftop Solar Energy Power Plant, the company's total installed capacity will be 20 megawatts.

The total cost of the investment is $12 million, which is equivalent to 330 million Turkish Lira. The project, for which the official processes have been completed, will be completed soon, and electricity production will commence.

Ahmet Eker, a member of the EKDÖKSAN Board of Directors, emphasized that they are a company that values the green transformation and expressed that they are turning towards renewable energy investments.
