Mayor Pekyatırmacı Hosts Chinese Business Leaders in Konya

Mayor Pekyatırmacı said, "Konya offers significant opportunities for Chinese businessmen in terms of investment preferences."

Chinese businessmen, who came to Konya for a series of visits from China, visited Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı.

Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı had visited China in recent months, engaging in various meetings and inspections. During his visit, he met with leading international technology and artificial intelligence companies in Zhongguancun, China's prominent technology hub, to discuss the city's digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence technologies in urban management. Following Mayor Pekyatırmacı’s visit, Chinese businessmen, who had been in contact to strengthen technological cooperation between the two countries, came to Konya and paid a return visit to Mayor Pekyatırmacı.

The delegation that visited Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı at his office included Pan Hailong, CEO of Taiyuan Company, Chief Engineer Bao Xiangming, General Manager Pan Jingyu, as well as Yulu Joanne, Founder of Cuve Group, and David Brode, Co-Founder of ITOC.

Expressing great happiness about being in Konya, Pan Hailong, CEO of Taiyuan Company, said, "Konya is a beautiful and modern city in terms of urbanization, and we are happy to be here. We know that Konya is one of the cities with significant power in Turkey's exports. For this reason, as a Chinese delegation, we wanted to see the investment opportunities in Turkey and Konya firsthand. I hope that the mutual visits will lead to the establishment of new connections and further strengthen the economic and commercial relations between Turkey and China. Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı welcomed our delegation very warmly, and we had a comprehensive and productive meeting with him regarding Konya's business and investment potential.
