New Licensed Storage Facility Opens in Çumra to Support Farmers

In Çumra, one of Konya's leading agricultural districts, a licensed warehouse facility has officially begun operations in the Organized Industrial Zone. The company Taşkıran Lidaş Tarım Ürünleri Lisanslı Depoculuk A.Ş. now provides storage and entrusted product services for farmers on behalf of the Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi (TMO).

With this facility, farmers will have a secure location to store their harvests and access market sales through the government's licensed warehouse system. The move is expected to improve income stability, reduce post-harvest losses, and strengthen market power for local producers. Gökhan Taşkıran, on behalf of the company, commented: "Producers can utilize our warehouse services with peace of mind for both entrusted storage and TMO sales.
