President Öztürk stated, "Konya is one of the leading cities in our country in the healthcare and medical sectors. Today, our city boasts a strong healthcare infrastructure, encompassing both public and private institutions. Numerous manufacturers and distributors operate in the fields of medical supplies, laboratory equipment, orthopedic products, and consumable medical materials. In the cosmetic and dermocosmetic sector, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises are on the rise. Our city also has a solid foundation in healthcare technology R&D, supported by its universities and technopark infrastructure. In this regard, Konya has the capacity to increase its export potential in medical, chemical, and cosmetic products. We particularly value the local and national production initiatives in the healthcare sector led by our committees, and as the Konya Chamber of Commerce, we will continue to support these efforts."
Speaking on behalf of the committees, Nuri Koçyiğit, Chairman of the 70th Committee on the Manufacture of Medical Products and the Trade of Medical and Cosmetic Goods, stated that the committee carries out initiatives within the Konya Chamber of Commerce to support their sector and members.
