Selcuklu's Natural Honey Now a Brand

The Selcuklu Municipality has initiated the production of completely natural Selcuklu Honey to highlight animal husbandry in rural areas and support local production. This honey will also be available for citizens to enjoy.

Selcuklu Honey received top marks in analyses conducted at the Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Laboratories.

The Selcuklu Municipality continues to implement projects aimed at promoting development and enhancing animal production in rural neighborhoods without slowing down.

As part of the Selcuklu Municipality's "Beehive Support" project, honey produced in 50 municipal-owned hives across five different rural neighborhoods has been branded as Selcuklu Honey. Produced to emphasize animal husbandry in rural areas and support local production, the honey has also received top marks in laboratory analyses.

The analyses revealed that the honey significantly exceeded the average measurement values outlined in the Turkish Food Codex Honey Communiqué, confirming its natural quality.

For now, the honey is available at Nefes Café and Seyir Café, located within the Selcuklu Municipality Service Building, drawing attention to both local and animal production.
