Shoe and Bag Fashion Fair Opens in Konya

The Master Shoes 2nd Konya Shoe and Bag Fashion Fair, organized by the Konya Chamber of Shoemakers and the Konya Footwear Manufacturers Association, has begun.

Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar, who attended the opening of the Master Shoes 2nd Konya Shoe and Bag Fashion Fair held in Konya, stated, "When we look at shoe exports specific to Konya, it is a source of pride for us to see that our city has achieved net exports worth 34.5 million dollars, with a 13.7% increase compared to the previous year."

Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar, speaking at the ceremony held at the Konya Chamber of Commerce TÜYAP International Fair Center, stated that they will continue to stand by producers and industrialists for the development and growth of the country.

Erhan Çelik, Chairman of the Board of Nobel Group Companies, the organizer of the fair, stated, "As organizers, we do not take ownership of the fairs; instead, we organize them according to the demands of the sectors. Currently, looking at the number of foreign visitors entering the fair, 226 foreign visitors from 31 countries have come here to start their trade. Despite the fair just beginning, they have already started receiving orders."

Selçuk Öztürk, President of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, stated, "The gathering of sector representatives today also demonstrates the strength brought by the unity of the Konya footwear sector. This strength is the most solid foundation for both our sector and our city to move forward even further. All our stakeholders in the sector will work together with this sense of unity to further advance Konya's strong position in Turkey's footwear production."
