Tourism Economy in Konya Grows Day by Day

The museums, which were introduced to the city by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality and have been greatly admired, hosted thousands of visitors during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, highlighted that Konya, with its ancient history, has numerous places to visit in terms of history and culture. He mentioned that they continue to implement various projects in the fields of culture and tourism one by one.

Mayor Altay said, "Despite being closed on the first and second days of Eid al-Fitr, our municipal museums were visited by 22,319 guests during the holiday period. I thank all our visitors. The number of visitors coming to Konya from outside the city is increasing day by day. We aim to further increase our share from the tourism economy."
