Women Produce and Women Prosper in Karatay

Karatay Municipality, which makes women's labor visible in the agricultural sector as in every field, contributes to women's participation in production and employment through projects that support women's labor.

In addition to promoting agricultural production, Karatay Municipality has implemented many significant projects that have included women in this process.

The lavenders and roses obtained from Karatay Lavender Garden and Karatay Rose Park are transformed into added value and economic worth through the handcrafted efforts of women at "Atölye Karatay."

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, in a statement made on the occasion of October 15 World Women Farmers Day, expressed, "I congratulate all our women farmers who contribute to production and work hard along this path."
