Prof. Dr. Mehmet Koç emphasized that Konya continues to
rapidly renovate all health facilities, setting an example as a model in our
country, and pointed out that the renovated family health centers and 112
stations have increased the quality in the field of health. Prof. Dr. Koç
stated that both patients and healthcare professionals are obliged to provide
and receive services in good conditions and that they aim to create an
efficient working environment by ensuring high employee satisfaction and as a
result, maximize patient satisfaction.
Prof. Dr. Koç stated that since the beginning of their
tenure, they had visited all primary healthcare facilities providing health
services on-site and identified their needs and deficiencies. He also expressed
that they have started to work rapidly towards renovating family health centers
and 112 emergency stations, which have poor physical conditions.
Prof. Dr. Koç stated that they have succeeded in
implementing significant projects in almost all primary healthcare facilities
providing health services in Konya city center and districts. He said, "We
are happy to be approaching the end of the renovation works that we started in
2018 at a rapid pace. We are working to provide services that are in line with
the vision of our Ministry of Health and in buildings that meet the criteria
set by our Ministry of Health. With the beautiful collaboration we named the
'Konya Model in Health', which is a model for our country in the field of
health, and the support of our Ministry, municipalities, and philanthropists,
we have managed to move 45 family health centers to their new locations so
far."
