Konya Metropolitan Municipality's Occupational Health and Safety System is in Compliance with International Standards

Konya Metropolitan Municipality has earned the right to receive the "TS ISO 45001" Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate, which is an international standard, by completing the necessary processes in order to create systematic and professional working conditions in its Occupational Health and Safety activities.

In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, the Metropolitan Municipality has provided basic occupational health and safety training to 4,815 personnel in accordance with their work and has also provided occupational health and safety training specific to professions to 8,656 people.

The Metropolitan Municipality provided one-point (toolbox) training to 1,172 people in the work areas of the personnel and provided 92,558 hours of training in the field of occupational health and safety to all personnel in 2023.

Seventeen occupational health and safety experts and one health worker were given training on the preparation of explosion protection documents (PKD).

The Metropolitan Municipality also had physicians working in the municipality receive the "ILO International Classification of Pneumoconiosis Radiographs Reader Training" within the scope of the 2023 training plan of the Presidency of the Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute.
