The land allocated by Meram Municipality for Aksinne Beyhekim Oral and Dental Health Hospital is rapidly progressing in its construction.
In Meram, significant strides have been taken in the healthcare sector in recent years. As the foundation of the 70-unit Aksinne Beyhekim Oral and Dental Health Hospital is laid, new family health centers and 112 emergency intervention centers are opening the way for the local community to receive faster healthcare services in the district.
Meram is getting ready to host another major healthcare investment following the Meram State Hospital, which is one of the city's largest and most well-equipped institutions.
In this context, the construction of the 70-unit Aksinne Beyhekim Oral and Dental Health Hospital, whose foundation was laid in August 2023, is rapidly progressing.
Initially planned as a 50-unit facility, the Oral and Dental Health Hospital had its capacity increased to 70 units with the approval of Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.
With the completion of the hospital, which will include 20 pediatric units and 2 operating rooms providing pre- and post-operative services, Konya will reach a significant level in oral and dental health services, similar to other healthcare services.
The process initiated with the allocation of 6448 square meters of land by the Meram Municipality valued at 100 million TL has been planned to result in a 4-story hospital with 1773 square meters of footprint area and 12801 square meters of closed area.
The units in the hospital have been designed either as single or double units. The construction is scheduled to be completed by October 2024.
