Necmettin Erbakan University, which has one of the few specialized microsurgery laboratories in Turkey, awarded certificates to the trainees who successfully completed the 29th Basic Microsurgery Training Program organized by the Experimental Medicine Application and Research Center.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the KONÜDAM Experimental Medicine Application and Research Center, Center Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tuğrul Yılmaz said, “Due to the need for specialized microsurgery laboratories to carry out these programs, there are very few microsurgery laboratories in our country and therefore very limited microsurgery courses are organized. Our center has a microsurgery laboratory with the necessary equipment and facilities to train 5 trainees per course. Thanks to the training programs held periodically within our center and lasting 40 hours, about 60 trainees from different parts of Turkey and the world come to our center to receive basic microsurgery training.”
The certificate ceremony ended with the presentation of certificates to the trainees who participated in the training from Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, Samsun 19 Mayıs University, Manisa Celal Bayar University, Karadeniz Technical University, and Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine; by Prof. Dr. Şükrü Nail Güner, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Necmettin Erbakan University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tuğrul Yılmaz, Director of KONÜDAM, Doç. Dr. Giray Sönmez, Course Coordinators Prof. Dr. Nedim Savacı, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dadacı, and Prof. Dr. Bilsev İnce.
