New Elderly Care Center to Be Built in Karatay

The Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Konya Governorship, Karatay Municipality, and the Uluırmak Saka Foundation will jointly construct a Nursing Home, Elderly Care, and Rehabilitation Center with a capacity of 250 in Karatay.

The protocol for the center, which will provide an important social service to Karatay, was signed during a ceremony held at the Konya Governorship. The project will be implemented through the joint efforts of the four institutions.

The center, to be built in Karakulak Neighborhood, will be established on a plot owned by the Uluırmak Saka Foundation following a zoning arrangement, covering an area of approximately 30,000 square meters. Constructed by the Uluırmak Saka Foundation, the facility will feature living areas for the elderly, health and doctor’s offices, social activity spaces, a dining hall, cafeteria, TV room, lounges, and administrative units.

Konya Governor İbrahim Akın stated that the 250-bed Nursing Home, Elderly Care, and Rehabilitation Center will be completed and opened for service as soon as possible.
