The leading figures of the pharmacy profession met with students at PHARMASEL'25, organized in collaboration between Selcuk University and the Konya Chamber of Pharmacists.
During the two-day congress, experts in the field will discuss the transformation of pharmacy, innovations, and ideas that will shape the future.
The second congress, held at the Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center with the theme "The Changing and Transforming Congress," will feature scientific sessions, panels, and professional discussions on the future of pharmacy.
Prof. Dr. Osman Tugay, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Selcuk University, stated that students would have the opportunity to meet with the pioneers of the pharmacy profession during the congress and benefit from their experiences and knowledge. He also added that, despite being a faculty established in 2017, they are ranked among the top 15 in Turkey based on overall averages.
The Student Coordinator of the congress, Yasemin Öztürk, expressed her happiness in bringing together valuable figures who are shaping the future of the profession in Konya.
The two-day event continued after the opening speeches with a discussion moderated by Assistant Dean Dr. Cengizhan Ceylan, featuring Arman Üney, President of the Turkish Pharmacists Association, as the guest speaker.
The opening was attended by Şeker Pınar Özcan, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Pharmacists, Zühtü Bahadır Bayraç, President of the Karaman Chamber of Pharmacists, faculty members, professionals from the field, and students.
