Selcuk University Introduces New MRI and Tomography Services

The MRI and tomography devices inaugurated at Selçuk University (SÜ) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Animal Hospital have started providing service.

The opening program held at the Animal Hospital of Selcuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken, General Secretary Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Konya Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Koç, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Seyfullah Haliloğlu, Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Alkan, academics, administrative staff, and students.

The Chief Physician of Selcuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Animal Hospital, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Alkan, stated, "The MRI and tomography devices, acquired for our hospital's imaging center, were provided with the contributions of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy. These devices will guide us in diagnosing diseases that we cannot see with X-rays and ultrasonography, especially."

Fahrettin Alkan emphasized that the acquired MRI and tomography devices will also provide significant contributions to the students studying at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
