Konya Food and Agriculture University has opened a Plant Health Clinic.
The clinic will provide services related to diseases that occur throughout the agricultural production process from seed to harvest, production yields, tissue culture studies, plant disease research, and diseases arising in dry farming.
Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. Kubilay Koçtaş said, "Plant health and biological studies are crucial for food safety. The first and only Plant Health Clinic in this university has been established. Diagnosing diseases and combating them during the production phase will increase producers' yields. Among the features of this clinic, standardizing diseases in greenhouses and fields and continuing the fight to prevent treatments from affecting future years, as well as ensuring high food safety for the products to be grown, will be some of the activities carried out."
