Konya's Historical Houses are Being Restored in Accordance with Local Architecture

The Karatay Municipality, which has made significant contributions through historical and cultural projects, is also making intensive efforts for the preservation and restoration of historical buildings in Konya.

In this context, the Karatay Municipality is restoring buildings located at various points throughout the district that represent hundreds of years of history in order to preserve them for the future.

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated, "We continue to preserve the beauties of Karatay and carry the traditional structures into the future."

As part of the efforts aimed at both promoting tourism and preserving for the future, the Karatay Municipality is restoring not only two historical buildings with approximately 125 years of history located on Hacı Hasanbaşı Street in Nakipoğlu neighborhood of Konya, but also another historical building in Aziziye neighborhood.
