Digital Transformation Award for Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Koski

 The "Mobile Assistant Application" implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality and the "Online KOSKİ Project," launched by the General Directorate of KOSKİ to advance digital service processes and digital transformation in were water management, deemed worthy of awards at the Public Digital Transformation Summit organized by the Public Informatics Association.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality has achieved another significant success with the projects it has implemented in line with its vision of digitalization in public services and data-driven governance.

In the competition held within the scope of the Public Digital Transformation Summit organized by the Public Informatics Association, the projects of Konya Metropolitan Municipality and the General Directorate of KOSKİ were honoured with awards.

On the first day of the two- day event held at the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) Campus in Ankara, a detailed presentation titled "Data Journey and Mobile Assistant Application" was delivered, introducing numerous applications implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality within the framework of Data-Driven City Management.

Comprehensive information was provided about the Data Warehouse Workshops conducted to create a data inventory within the institution and across the city, the Local Data Inventory Platform, the Datavision Application used to monitor service performance, the Konya Monitoring Application that tracks internet- connected sensors in real time, and other applications evaluated as resources. It was stated that the Mobile Assistant Application, Open Data Portal, and Business Intelligence applications are used as display interfaces for municipal administration, field personnel, and citizens.

On the second day of the event, a presentation was delivered regarding the Online KOSKİ Project. A detailed introduction was made about this exemplary digital transformation project, which includes subscription processes, billing procedures, invoice creation and correction, e-instalment services, distance subscription agreements, infrastructure status certificates, corporate memberships and official institution transactions, the mobile headman application, as well as malfunction and outage notifications.

Within the scope of the Public Digital Transformation Summit competition, Konya Metropolitan Municipality's "Mobile Assistant Application," developed to support data-driven decision-making mechanisms, and the “Online KOSKİ Project," implemented by KOSKİ to enhance digital service processes and digital transformation in water management, were awarded. The awards were presented during the Summit.

Operating under the "Konya Model Municipality" approach, Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues to serve as a model and pioneer with numerous projects and Smart City Applications, while maintaining its role as a benchmark for many local administrations through its innovative and digital solutions.
