Konya Leaders Review Key Investments

Konya Governor İbrahim Akın, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, and Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı visited the visionary projects brought to Konya by the Selçuklu Municipality for an on-site inspection.

Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı said, “Our investments will help us raise our service standards in all areas.”

As part of the visit program, which began at Selçuklu Fine Arts High School, the protocol members toured Konya Sports High School’s Ahmet Çalık Indoor Sports Hall and Artificial Turf Field, the Athlete Selection and Training Center, the newly completed Community Mental Health and Healthy Life Center, as well as Selçuklu Science High School’s Indoor Sports Hall and Artificial Turf Field.

Mayor Pekyatırmacı briefed Governor Akın and Mayor Altay on the latest developments in the investments.

Konya Governor İbrahim Akın emphasized the significance of Selçuklu Municipality’s ongoing investments, stating:

“We had the opportunity to visit and inspect the ongoing investments in our district together with our Metropolitan Mayor and Selçuklu Mayor. These are highly significant and large-scale projects. As our mayor mentioned, in Konya, municipalities do not differentiate between what falls under local administration or central government; wherever there is a need, the necessary investments are made. These services greatly contribute to Konya’s development, both socially and culturally, as well as in the field of sports. I sincerely thank our Selçuklu Mayor and his team for their efforts in realizing these projects, as well as our Metropolitan Mayor for his support.”
