The Demirkapı Tunnel, which has come to end between Konya
and Antalya and will connect Central Anatolia to the Mediterranean in 4
minutes, is opening soon. There are 90 days left until the opening.
The Demirkapı Tunnel, which is under construction between
Konya and Antalya and will connect Central Anatolia to the Mediterranean in 4
minutes, opens in May.
The 5-kilometer-long Demirkapı Tunnel built on the
Antalya-Manavgat Separation-Taşağıl-Derebucak Road route and the
67-kilometer-long road with the tunnel will connect Antalya to Konya and the
inner parts.
Those traveling on the Konya-Beyşehir-Derebucak-Gembos route
will reach Antalya through the tunnel by passing through the Gembos and Eynif
plains, known for their natural beauty.

mountains separating the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia to the southern
slope in 4 minutes and see the green texture will witness the transition from
the continental climate to the Mediterranean climate in a short time.

time and fuel oil per year.
In addition to tourism, the road will also contribute to the
delivery of commercial products to domestic and foreign markets.
